Is this only for families
with younger children? |
Not at all! No matter how
old your children are, they will constantly be learning, changing, and
growing into the adults they will be. Whether your children are 3 days
old or 30 years old, documenting who they are at this stage in their
lives will always be a treasured moment to look back on. |

Your information says a family sitting is 2-4 hours. Why
is this? |
This would
be such a wonderful world if children were always happy and having fun,
but sometimes this is not the case. We have found that if we try to squeeze
pictures into a 20-30 minute session, that sometime the children are
just not in the mood that particular half hour. So we make sure to give
each family plenty of time so that if there is a little sadness or a
tantrum, it gives the child time to calm down, take a time out, and then
come back and be their happy self again! It also gives us time to do
more activities, like reading a story, going on a picnic, and taking
a bath all in one session! |

What should we wear? |
The goal of this photo session is to create timeless images of your family as they are, in their regular environment. The timeless part of it really concerns clothing more than hair or anything else. Because fashion trends change drastically within just a few years, we recommend wearing clothing that is always in style: Jean, khakis, slacks or shorts. Monochromatic colored tops in any style cut [avoid colors with the words 'neon', 'electric', or 'shocking'. [such as neon yellow, electric blue, or shocking orange] no text, stripes, prints, patterns or cartoon characters. This may sound very boring, but trust us you will be grateful in a few years! |

Can you focus just on the kids? I need
to be posed to look good in pictures. |
We will take the utmost care to make sure
that you, the parents, look just as amazing in the images are your children
do! While we prefer not to disturb or interrupt the children as they are
playing by suggesting they move, we will make suggestions to adults for
flyaway hairs, and other things. We want you to feel absolutely comfortable
with us, and know we are going to make you look your best! |

How quickly can we see our pictures
after you take them? |
Proofs will be up and online within 10 days
of your sitting. Proof Albums will be completed 2 weeks after your images
are online. |
